This is now fixed by VMware in the latest round of patches.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kb.vmware.com\/kb\/2145347\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/kb.vmware.com\/kb\/2145347<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I recently upgraded my lab servers to the latest round of patches (end June 2017) and the errors which appeared after updating the disk firmware when I applied VUM patches.
